When most people talk about hiring a caterer it is usually in a conversation about a wedding reception or formal affair. And sure… we do that! But what about those birthday parties and family reunions or Superbowl get-togethers… We do that too! And why not have someone do all the work so you can enjoy your guests. Perhaps you think “I could do that myself for less.” But is it worth the time and energy that you waste when The Four Roses can do it for you… at a very reasonable rate. That’s what we do… check us out!
Wedding Receptions? Sure…But what about Reunions, Parties and Get-Togethers!
January 30th, 2010J.T. & Emily Light the Four Roses Garden
June 13th, 2009Everything was beautiful. From the bride and groom, to the luxurious table decor, to the new lighting in the garden. “The evening couldn’t have been more perfect!” was the quote from the bride.
J.T. and Emily had their wedding ceremony at the nearby Northwest Chapel and then moved the party to The Four Roses Garden. Dinner was served to the guests just as the sun was setting in the west. As it slowly turned to nightfall, the garden changed from the lush green setting to a beautifully lit enchanted garden.
Dinner turned to dancing in the gazebo and fun was had by all. It is my prayer that J.T. and Emily will have a lifetime of days as beautiful as the day that started their life together. Congratulations J.T. and Emily.

Dinners To Go…
May 26th, 2009As I was raising my children, there were times when by the day’s end I couldn’t even think about preparing a warm, well rounded meal. I would have loved the “dinner fairy” to leave me some magical dust and POOF, dinner for our entire family would appear.
Later, I worked for a travel management company. Days were long and I don’t know how many times I would head for home wishing that a fully prepared, warm meal would be waiting upon my arrival. Instead, an empty refridgerator greeted me and I opted for cold cereal or even worse… fast food.
Then there were the days that we had friends over for the evening. It would have been fun to serve a full dinner, but it was more economical to order Chinese food or pizza.
Now, I have the opportunity to help out those busy working mothers, homemakers, wives and part-time entertainers with economical, homemade dinners delivered to your door. DINNERS TO GO… offers a different homemade meal each day, Monday through Friday. Each entree is accompanied by a two side dishes, bread and dessert for the cost of fast food. And even better, the food comes delivered right to your door. We even accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards for your convenience.
Look at the menu below and let me know what you would like to order. You can contact me by email or phone.

Valentine’s Banquet in Cambria
February 16th, 2009The Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church of Cambria looked amazing for the Valentine banquet. Following a spread of assorted hor d’oervers and sparkling cider, the menu included The Four Roses Specialty Salad and a choice of three entrees, Chicken Roulade, Beef Wellington or Hazelnut Glazed Salmon, each served with a bouquet of asparagus and feta mashed potatoes. Apple Blossoms in a cloud of whipped cream were served for dessert.
Check out the photos to see how their multi-purpose room was transformed into a beautiful setting for great food and music.

What’s in a Name
November 28th, 2008People often ask me where I got the name “The Four Roses” for my business. Someone actually thought that it was a business started by 4 women named Rose. Nope… the business is actually owned by me and my amazing husband Ed (we’ve been married 32 years). So, where did we come up with the name “The Four Roses?” The name was actually inspired by our four daughters. When they were young Ed and I planted four rose bushes to represent the beauty of our four daughters. What we didn’t realize was that each one of them would become far and away more beautiful than their rose bush. They are beautiful on both the outside and the inside. And talent… they are loaded. In the future I will talk more about some of their talents. Many of our clients will have an opportunity to see the fruits of my daughters talent since all four girls are involved in our business. It really is a business with an emphasis on family… mine and yours!
Take a look at my beautiful family. This picture is missing my doctor son-in-law who was working that day!

A Dream Becomes a Reality
November 1st, 2008After years of dreaming, praying, planning and crossing my fingers, my heart’s desire became realized in a business named The Four Roses. Although my dreams have changed venue, my prayers have been adjusted, my plans have been reinvented and my fingers have uncrossed and started a new job nothing has changed in my heart. I still have a desire to serve others and to make their lives easier. There is something that I love about making peoples’ difficult tasks look simple and making sure that their needs are met. That’s what I loved doing in the past… that’s what I hope to do in the future as I work with old and new clients alike.
